I am old. I feel, therefore I am. I have destroyed my body, broken it, fractured it, twisted it, whatever. I’m not really that old when it comes to my age, or my state of mind, but I’ve sacrificed my body for our sport and I have no regrets. The pleasure of rollin is worth the pain.

Over the years, my skating has come full circle. Instead of tours, comps and video shoots, I occasionally meet up with some local skaters and roll around the neighborhood, or just go on a solo skate to get my muscles moving again. I can’t skate too seriously anymore because if I do, I’ll most likely wreck myself. So I feel the need to stay involved and contribute to our culture in other ways. A few years back, I was presented with the opportunity to help Tracy White, my teammate (Hardline, 4dub and Bauer), business partner and best friend, start a contest series called L.A. All Day. And we made that happen for 5 years strong.

I’ve met a ton of skaters throughout the years and I’ve been lucky enough to have made friends all over the globe. This blog will give me the opportunity to share some insight on blading experiences, friends, and of course, the city I live in… Los Angeles.

I’ll take you inside the lives of some OGs who without rollerblading wouldn’t be where they are today. I’ll also showcase some great music, whether it’s a group of musicians who happen to roll, or just a cool song I find along the way. Art is another way we all express ourselves, and I’ll definiltey incorporate that into this blog. Our sport is a creative outlet that has no boundaries. I feel that we are creative people because of what we do. With that said, I guess you’ll just have to tune in to see where and how blading takes us… FURTHER.
