Looking back, IMYTA LA is more of a blurry memory than anything. It was a well-organized day of chaos. At the time, Be-Mag was not running comp photos and Daily Bread was refusing my files. I shot high speed black and white with my Contax G2 Rangefinder assuming it would never be printed.
For the photo, I pushed the film speed as far as it would go — just trying to get large grain. I was having a conversations with Jaren Grob and AJ Jackson as Jeph Howard landed this 360 Fish to Fastslide. Thanks to ONE for finally letting this image out.
