ONE @ BCSD XIII

By now everyone has heard the news that there will likely never be another Bitter Cold Showdown. But during the weekend of BCSD XIII no one had a clue, and the result was one of the best BCSD events in recent memory. For ONE, this was our seventh BCSD outing… though we’ve been going long enough to remember insane all-night drives back to North Carolina from Elkhart, Indiana, and all the happy years spent at Vertigo in Boardman before settling into Modern Skatepark in Detroit. And though we’ve maybe seen bigger crowds, and more pro blader participation, this year’s finals blew the roof off that big ol’ warehouse in the ‘burbs and will go down in the history books as a(nother) day that something important happened for blading when that engraved hammer trophy was up for grabs. Watch and we think you’ll agree.
