Straight outta Santee, Fester Wheels is the new wheel company on the scene. Made up of founders like Damien Wilson, Nick Wood and Mathieu Ledoux (and shared ownership with all team riders), as the Fester t-shirts say, the company’s aim is to “Make ‘Em Say Unkle.” How will they do that? The plan is a well-executed sleeper hold to deserving parties by way of a pro line of wheels that kicks off with a batch of urethane for Joey Chase. Not sure how much we can say about the wheels at this point since we haven’t rolled on them yet, but they’re using a time-tested 59mm mold and a proven compound familiar to fans of other brands. Like all things Santee, for Fester the magic is in the mayhem. So with the new DVD dropping, the wheels and shirts launching, and another crew joining the growing armada of skater-owned businesses, get ready for an extra mainline of crazy, delivered straight to the jugular with a touch of bad attitude.
