Stale Grab

This was the first day I had ever met Wake Schepman. I had seen him ripping at contests before, but I had never had the chance to talk to him personally. I respected him for his talents, but after talking with Wake I began to respect him for his personality as well. During this particular session, Wake, Chris Edwards and I made our way to the North Side of Pittsburgh to shoot at this legendary spot. The whole drive to the spot I was reminded how nice and respectful Wake was. If Wake is the future of blading I think blading is in good hands. I could tell he was really juiced to be blading with Chris as well, and Wake started throwing some solid tricks down as soon as we rolled up. This photo stands out to me because of the people watching Wake in the air. The photo was shot with two Vivitar 285HV flashes, one to the left and one to the right of the frame, at 1/250 on a Canon 7D at f7.1 and ISO 400.
