PHOTO JOURNAL: Sam Cooper #61

The final few months of last summer were something to behold, even by the stupidly highly standards set by Ollie. Covid and an injury had really fucked with his 2020, robbing him of many hours of blading. This clearly would not stand, which is why when he could skate, and he was allowed to travel, Ollie hit the ground running! This topside torque soul is just one of many outcomes during a half summer of silliness from the leggy man from Cheltenham. I shot this image with my 50mm Nikkor lens and with two strobes at full power either side of Ollie to light him up, helping bring him away from the darker areas of the background. — Sam Cooper
