Backside Royale to Fishrain

Tim Franken (Remz flow rider) and I headed to Lower Manhattan to shoot some shots in NYC. At first we went to the famous Wall Street ledge to warm up. After a quick session, we made our way to Chase Bank to skate this seemingly impossible ledge. It only took Franken a few tries before he slid the entire 30-foot ledge and transferred from Back Royale to this Fishbrain. I couldn’t believe my eyes but my camera reassured me. I shot this using two strobes: one high and behind me, and one far left.

It’s worth mentioning that Tim Franken recently won top qualifier for The Last Man Standing Competition 2010. He continues to shred throughout the tri-state area while filming for an upcoming section in Joseph Perez’s new film, titled “Fitted.”

wait what?! he jumped up on the ledge that high to back royale just like that? :O

Wow and that’s the higher ledge too. Mad props to Tim. For those that aren’t familiar that ledge is high enough to jump on to begin with and the sidewalk goes down hill making it that much harder to hit it.
