After seeing numerous Sunday Session edits I finally got to participate. However, when a photo opportunity such as this massive mute wallride to fakie appears, sometimes the blader in me turns into a photographer and I have stop skating and think about how to make a memorable image. I was skeptical at first if I could make this photo work because I didn’t have a fisheye, so I let the guys get the clip. After seeing how sick this trick was I had give it a try and at getting this moment captured.

This blader’s name is Chris Waters and he has been a huge part of the San Diego scene, but he rarely gets to skate street because of his busy schedule. In fact, in all the years I have lived in San Diego, I think I have only skated street with Chris a few times; but that’s beside the point. Chris is extremely talented. He approaches everything with skill and precision like it is an obstacle at a skate park. This particular trick was no exception.

I shot this at 1/250th on a Nikon D5000 with my lens at 24mm, F7.1, ISO 400. I had one flash to my right set to half power.
