Eisler all the way.. his face has been every where this year as well as being one of the face pushing the sport into a new and exciting direction with power blades

  • AJ - February 1st, 2012

No Montre or Bolino huh? Wait until you see Pariah. Guess they’ll have to wait a year. Congrats to everyone nominated!

  • maaash - February 1st, 2012

i think its going to be NILS, he has accomplished so much this year and i think blading industry needs fresh and crazy pros!

  • Chris Duke - February 1st, 2012

    Richie Eisler,

That man is the best rollerblader in the world and have thought so forever.

Flawless style, incredible control, and has been all over the world!

Respect the Canadian Hunter S Thompson.

  • Roberts - February 2nd, 2012

Richie Eisler got my vote! It could be also Nils, Andrew and Sean. But honestly, noone can complain Richie is one of the most creative out there and, whatsmore, everywhere he shows up, he leaves positive emotions and make other people smile too. Last year he showed us plenty of stuff that approves this.

It’s hard to pick just one of 10 greatest rollerbladers!

  • hebaliser - February 2nd, 2012

NILS IS THE ONLY ONE FROM EUROPE

HE AND RICHIE ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO’S NOT FROM NORTH AMERICA

NILS WILL FUCKIN WIN THIS SHIT!

  • Karen Eisler - February 2nd, 2012

Richie because I am proud of his pure love of the sport and his respect for rollerbladers all over the world.

  • Noah Zipser - February 2nd, 2012

Haffey. His website, endless progression, The Youth Co., outside/mainstream influence/interest with the Nitro deal, professionalism and all around badassness. He is the epitome of “SOTY”.

Aragon, Eisler and Farmer are all pretty close.

  • curtis caudle - February 2nd, 2012

SEAN KELSO ALL THE WAY AS FAR AS TECHNICAL AND INNOVATIVE TRICKS, BEING A PROFESSIONAL SKATER IS BEEING ABLE TO SKATE AND OVERCOME ANY OBSTICLE WITH ANY DESIRED TRICK. SK IS KILLING THE GAME WITHH HIS INFLUENTIAL BLADING, THE MAN HAS ONE OF THE CLEANEST MOST EFFORTLESS LOOKING STEEZ TO ROLLERBLADING. DEFINATLEY MY #1 CHOICE. BUT THERE ARE SO MANY OTHERS WHO ARE JUST AS WELL. JUST A MATTER OF WHO DID THE MOST WORK KILLING THE GAME

  • Laura - February 2nd, 2012

alex broskow for sure. one love.

  • Justin - February 2nd, 2012

Since when is Canada not part of North America? It is the Northern part of the fucking continent.

    Richie for the W

  • AnthonyMedina - February 2nd, 2012

    Richie Eisler all the way.

  • DustincorEybrowN - February 3rd, 2012

Richie Eisler fo sho, dude put out the dopest edit this past year in my opinion, the Richie vs Barc. plus the dude has filmed and edited many others that i enjoyed as well, dom sagona’s edit was sick too… richie is what i love about blading, his style/tricks/heart… and i hear he is a rad person too…

  • J. Bernie - February 3rd, 2012

    Congratulations to all nominees.

Richie Eisler gets my vote. His skills are phenomenal and his attitude outstanding. He’s the greatest ambassador the sport could ever ask for. A genuine class act.

  • Doug Cupo - February 3rd, 2012

Alex “Strange Creature” Broskow for tha win…the dood

  • Remy Amsterdam - February 4th, 2012

Broskow for me. Why is it called Skater of the year? Shouldn’t it be American skater of the year?

    Oh well. Nice.

  • Oscar - February 6th, 2012

Eisler must win. Nobody on the list deserves more than him

  • JM - February 7th, 2012

It was a toss up between Haffey and Eisler. They both did a ton this year to promote the sport. Richie ran the powerhouse which put out more content than any other media outlet, travelled the world and is at the forefront of innovative skating. Haffey repped hard with nitro circus, world records and his website.

Richie gets the vote though… Haffey wins too often…

  • Jeremy szott - February 9th, 2012

Richie eisler deserves to win!! He’s 30 years old and is still killing everything he skates. Has the best style and the most positive energy of any skater I have ever met!

  • rob z - February 12th, 2012

    Richie!

  • Corey o - February 23rd, 2012

Jacuzzi deserves it! If for nothing else then for his part in Regardless
