EVENTS: AIL World Championships Day 2

Day 2 of the AIL World Championships kicked off at 8 am with a tradeshow that I conveniently missed due to the late night antics of the ONE pre-party the night before. However, it was rumored that kids and parents alike were buying up all sorts of gear from the companies involved. RB, Valo, Con.Artist, Ucon, Revolution, and England all came out to sell products.

As the day passed on, some visiting pros and ams sessioned the only part of the park opened to non-competitors while most people kept their eyes on the next batch of soon-to-be pro bladers at the AIL Amateur Championships. Not me of course, so check out who was ripping behind the scenes below. I would like to give a virtual hive-five to Issue #6’s Am Hour David Jones who ripped the course up in the advanced finals to take the wildcard slot for Sunday’s pro event. Stay tuned for coverage of the final event!

Why not show some of those up and coming young rollerbladers instead of the tired old pros that we see all of the time. Would have loved to see some pics of the bladers that skate for the sport and not the recognition.

They tried to promote the “future skaters” at this event. Where are the pics? We all know what the pro’s can do, and what they look like. What about giving the future of inline a spot?
