I flew back to Rochester for the week to see family and the old blade buddies, and Tim Adams decided he wanted to film for a new section to support his flow sponsor, USD. One day we decided to drive down to the southern tier of New York to skate some untapped spots. Stefan Brandow, originally from the area and therefore our guide, brought us to this ditch spot; very uncommon for New York…
After getting a feel for the spot, Tim, as usual, decided he needed more speed for his trick, so Nate Hall offered to help him out with a sling shot. Here we’ve got a sling shot to Topsoul to Wallride to Fakie from the bridge into the bank. No flash, because I had just fired immediately before this on the topsoul, and got lucky on the wallride snap. Aperture at f/11, shutter at 1/250, all at ISO 320. — Kris Troyer
