My friend Kenny Ruoff, who now lives in Denver, laced this sick royale stall on the side of a tall, fat exhaust pipe at the university. I made a fake HDR from the still. It actually turned out pretty good.

Every year my good friend Smiley, who I met at Superhick 2008 in Atlanta, throws a BladeBQ in Fort Collins. Funny how I used to live out east, met him in Atlanta, and now he lives in the Fort. Last year while Smiley and Dom were grilling burgers for everyone, Howie Bennet laid down this mute to top soul over the coffin and through the curve.

Like I said, the Mile High Battle keeps getting better every year. Luke Bender and Collin Carr rented a Uhaul to carry around a box and a rail for the last spot. Somehow they convinced a number of people to try and grind the van from the launch ramp. A few wall rides went down and then Chris Burlingame stepped it up and Backroyaled the shit out of the side of the uhaul. This easily won best trick for the comp.
