Long years as a rollerblader have given Tracy White a respect for the memorabilia surrounding the sport, and he finally let ONE and a select ground of AZ rollers into his secret ‘Blade Museum’ to check out his private stash. Primarily focusing on projects in which he’d participated like Bauer and 4Dub, there were plenty of other established classics amongst the collection. We snapped these pics to let you get a taste for yourselves. — ONE
All sorts of history.
Tracy rode for Bauer with AJ. Instead of pushing the black colored mold in the background, Bauer ran with the TMNT-colored deal.
The full Bauer lineup, Fiziks, and some non-UFS Fifty/50s.
Remember when Senate decided to make 30mm wide wheels and the necessary frames? Whoa. Ambitious.
Daaamn! It was really fantastic to see ancient models once again!
I have been dreaming of Bauers, Oxygen Argons and K2 Fattys but it was immpossible to get a pair here, in Ukraine. I really remember when Hyper and Senate wheels were the best on the market. So sweet to remember all of this. Thank you, guys!
WOOT!! FATBOYS!!
Brian Lewis and Hakeem Jimoh of Create Originals created the Fila skate.
those fila skates look sick!
its funny to see that those rollerblade skates are still getting produced though, and sold by argos
Chris Morris started Soap Shoes.
ahhh the senate wides…haha back when upgrading your frames were about as much as a pair of skates and you needed a rived machine to re-rivet everything.
I have a brand new pair of the green bauers at home! Might have to pull those out for a few sessions
I am still in awe from all the stuff that I saw.
Its amazing to see that there was so much going on back then, and then to look at it now.
would kill to skate those Filas. haha. good times
Echoing Tom — FAT BOYS!!!
Give me some Tarmacs with those Fat Boys and call me 14 again!

Tracy White is the man….There is just no denying this what so ever…I am now better at skating just from Seeing that collection in person.
I have actualy skated with Bauer skates and with fila, while ago when i learned in norway 😛
one of the first skates I started on were a pair of bauer (f120 i think) I learn to soul grind on them & I still have a pair of k2 fatties that I still skate. old skool. Hyper Fatboys, man these were the MEANEST wheels.
tracy my nigga you been hold out on me with those fatboys!!! lol i envy your collection…
WOW!! jaw droping! brings back memories no doubt even though im only 22… had the fatty pro’s with J. petty pro wheels and also those roces with neon blue frames… takes me back to the mini ramp jam that was help in sweden(Malmo) seeing some japanese guy going crazy with hand plants …. and the bauers first time i saw them in intersport all black.. as well as the fila’s…. and massive blue blades from senate if im right in saying that weighing a tone each!…
Blast from the past! Those neon lightnings have to be 20 years old. …I had some. Somebody needs to re-release DARE to AIR and THE HOAX.
I started skating with my friend’s “Bauers”, then I found a pair of “Microblades” in the garbage and finally Moms bought me my first rollerblades “lightning TRS” which I still have with me. I crossed the Queens-borough bridge from Queens to Manhattan while hanging from the bumper of a jeep cherokee with my Lightning TRS. Best skates ever!!! Thank you for the memories.
So I’ve been looking for any information on those yellow FILAs. I have recently started blading and I found a pair at a second hand store. they are in mint condition I was wondering if anyone knows of a site that could tell me something about them?
A few Years ago i offer Tracy White to donate some really unusual things, he answered unpleasant in my email I saw was considering sending it to him, unfortunately I do not trust the man with my things,so i waiting to donate to someone else.
Maybe he has change now but anyway,..
Hey VKS,
I have never refused anything to the TWBM and don’t remember this conversation. Sorry if I offended you in anyway not my style…one of the main purposes of the TWBM is showcase and share the love of blading through generous donations from fellow bladers!
Please message me at
https://www.facebook.com/blademuseum?ref=hl
and forward that email you sent so I could resolve this issue.
Thanks!
