One of the more dynamic and unpredictable new bladers to materialize on the international scene, when Lauric Picard visited San Diego back in November 2022 we were excited to link him up with photographer Steve Steinmetz. Over a few days Steve was able to show Lauric and his friend Samuel Obst around town to spots where they both landed a couple tricks for the camera. Things were off to a good start. We saw Lauric a few months later at Winterclash where we talked about maybe getting a few more pics for a larger feature, and the subject came up again at BCSD a couple weeks later. A plan was in place. But sometimes things don’t work out as planned. So as the Issue #27 deadline crept closer we asked Lauric to write a little about his trip to SD that could accompany his photos. You can check out #27 to see the final product, but in the meantime enjoy these two extra shots from the trip.
