Alex Nunez Anthology

Alex Nunez was a talented blader from New York, whose calculated style and presence became a staple of the East Coast scene. Over the weekend Alex’s family made the difficult decision to turn off the life support machines keeping him alive.

Blading has lost another individual that poured his dedication and skills into our shared pastime.

Though many of us never had a chance to know Alex in a deep and personal way, through his skating he touched lives all across the globe. From the streets of NYC he influenced styles and tricks everywhere — and that spirit lives on.

We send our deepest sympathies to all of Alex’s friends and family, and wish we could be in the city this weekend for the Memorial Session. If you can be there, lay down a switch up for the homie… you know he’d do the same for you.
