It’s that time of year when bladers travel to New Philadelphia, Ohio to celebrate the life of James Short.

This year the event is August 23rd, and will feature special guests Ben Schwab and Chris Farmer!

In a recent development, it’s been announced that the city of New Philly is dedicating the park to James and it will now feature a sigh that reads “Dedicated to the memory of James Short.”

Losing James Short in his prime to a drunk driver was a preventable tragedy. Show up on August 23rd to spend the day the way he would have wanted to — blading, playing music and hanging out with this friends.
