Mike Opalek will be in Thailand from July 23rd to Nov. 5th, coaching the Thai National Inline Team, or something like that. It’s pretty nuts. Mike informed us that during that time he’ll return to the states for two weeks to train at Woodward West from the middle of September to the end of the month. Any skaters in Thailand are welcome to meet up and skate with Mike and the Thai Team before or after those dates. They’ll be in the town of Supan Buri, about two hours north of Bangkok. For any potential travelers, Mike offered this nugget of information: “There’s a rice museum in town, so they can kill two birds with one stone. The last time I was there I met the Prime minister and since then he’s been run out of office, so lets see what happens this time.”
