Okay, so last night was the Revolution Halibut Cookout which served as an excellent prelude to the premiere of the Santee crew’s video “FILTH” (watch a trailer HERE). Kegs got tapped early, around 3pm, so by nightfall when the flick got shown the crowd was feeling all right. Check out the photos inside for a taste of what you missed.

A few days after most of the skaters headed home from the Revolution trip to Alaska, James and some of the other guys caught over 300 lbs of Halibut. That fish got frozen and shipped back to Arizona, and then 70 lbs got brought to Santee, where over 40 lbs were grilled. It was f–ing amazing. Thanks!

After filling their tummies with fish and beers, Nick and his OG inspiration Brian Bell catch up for a few minutes. Notice they both dig the bald/goatee look.

When the sun went down the projector came out. Filled with damn-good skating and lots of Santee’s wild personality, “FILTH” got plenty of good response from the crowd. It didn’t hurt that Damien’s mom stood at the back of the crowd reminding everyone, “That’s my boy… and so is he!” (Or, “He’s not as good as my boy!”)

The beloved beer pong table got much use, as X-Rated and Geoff Acers display.

In case we didn’t know when the night was over, Damien pulled down his pants to proudly display his new kitty-tat, and Rocco decided he needed to get his face REALLY close to that ass. We’ve been around long enough to know this is an indicator to “Run for your life!”
