ONE Issue #14 features a FOLIO profile on long-time blade photographer-turned-visual artist Dan Busta. Roommate, friend and fellow photographer Ryan Schude provides a brief but accurate summation of Dan’s achievements and work philosophy, but what most bladers will dig is a collection of Dan’s most classic skate imagery. Without showing off too much, here’s a taste of some of the memories we packed into the latest issue. — ONE
So good to see Dan Busta’s photography gracing the pages of rollerblading magazines again.
I’ll definitely be picking up a copy of this issue just for the Dan Busta folio alone.
Big D-Busta is one cool dude. Dan always has a smile on his face but it gets even bigger when he has a camera in front of his eye or a pair of skates on his feet.
The Stockwell Picture is one of the most memorable days of my time in San Diego. Renting a car with Busta when I was interning at DB, driving up to San Clemente and seeing Jeff be a complete professional and hammer down so many tricks with skate and clothing changes it was ridiculous.
Well deserved Busta portfolio profile!
Where are the true professionals like Dan when we need them. Thats what rollerblading needs.
Dan Busta doesnt have time for rollerblading bc there is no money involved.
So much easier said then done but some1 needs to step up and get a high paying job(maybe selling cars) and buy a good camera. We need to bring back Daily Bread photos from the past through a ONE mag viewing section thatd b encouraging too bc an expensive camera cannot buy skills.
If we cant get our shots up to par with Dan’s photography we are moving backwards.
Did that Riggle Wallride feature on the cover of a Daily Bread? Awesome stuff..
