The last few years have been littered with chance meetings with Connor Pearce while out shooting various projects in London. Each time we would see on another we would joke about actually working together. The butt of the joke being that he was one way or another constantly injured; so it would never actually happen. Eventually Connor would end up moving back up North to Nottingham and but with this he magically found some consistent strength and health in his thus far, terrible knees. Not one to waste a good opportunity as soon as Connor said he was good I took myself up to Nottingham for a few days of adventures. This loading bay is nothing special in itself, but the amazing mural of a sad clown made a great session spot well worth capturing along as it’s coupled with the right trick. Connor complied in that area with a well presented Back Savanna to make a striking image that I shot with my Nikkor 50mm and two off camera flashes that were positioned either side of him and scene. – Sam Cooper
