Over the past two weeks bladers around the world have nominated and then voted on their favorite bladers, edits, brands, products, writers, photographers, videographers, events, locations and more.
The names you see below are the result of your efforts.
2015 was a social media year for blading. Instagram fifteen second edits and FB embedded videos can spread around the world in mere moments. How this has impacted the way participating bladers view the sport cannot be overstated.
And these results prove it.
The people, brands, events and products named below represent the best that blading offers. They are on this list because their dedication, passion, perseverance and/or innovation has had an impact that spreads beyond popularity and transcends to international respect.
Many, many talents were nominated to this year’s ONE Awards. Hundreds. But among all the choices available, these are the results CHOSEN BY BLADERS that highlight the top echelon of rollerblading.
Without further delay, please join us in congratulating this year’s ONE Awards recipients.

Lomax? Seriously?…with all respect to him, Broskow should won, no doubt.
But he didn’t.
Don’t come here and say “So and so” should have won. If they should have won, they would have. That’s how voting works.
Disparaging the winners because they aren’t your personal favorite ignores the fact that a) your favorite was nominated and b) someone got more votes than them.
No franky??? Fixed
.
Hoooah for Rollerblading!
Don’t get so defensive guy. They are entitled to their own opinion – and you are correct that numbers don’t lie – however the area for discussion is the demographics involved with such a poll – considering the tendency for bladers to have an affinity for their local dudes (particularly outside the US).
Regardless, I like these polls – even if they aren’t scientific.
Honestly?
My personal favorite for SOTY 2015 was Enin, but SOTY means best skater of the year, not your favorite and Broskow in 2015 was just the best: NYC VOD, NOWHERE VOD (which is one of his best sections ever, if not the best), won Motor Town Classic like a fuckin king, also won Blading Cup.
Lomax is a great skater, one of the best in Europe nowadays, but you just can’t compare him to Broskow (especially in 2015), even if he dropped a lot of good edits online with many sick tricks and took places in top 3 in major comps. Broskow is on the another level, like Haffey was few years back. I’m sorry.
Anyway, congrats to him and to the others!
For next year I’d like to see an award for best instagram/bladergram. I keep coming across some great ones (like vibralux and filthjuice) and maybe there’s alot I haven’t discovered so a vote on that would be cool.
What??? Haffey VOD not even in the top 3??? City hopper instead?
this sucks, aj winning is a slap in the face. also nick lomax eats turds.
How the hell did Aeons win product of the year? Most people haven’t even tried them yet, and when the poll was held they weren’t released yet.
Congrats to all the winners! Especially Haffey, Eugen and Joe. The EU is killing it this year. Also looks like they came out and voted in numbers.
This is a great thing that ONE is doing. It’s not to often that skaters get recognition for the work they put in, so stop getting all emo! lol
Broskow will go down in history, I’m sure he’s not losing sleep on getting 3rd best skater this year. he might be best skater of the decade, along with Franky. Anyways, this year Nick took it, best style for tall skater 😉
Yeah, how can the USD Aeons win when people outside of the industry haven’t even skated in them yet? It looks like USD was going hard voting for their own product. lol
Post the number votes so we can see how the winners were arrived at!
How about a few words for the winner of each category? What did AJ put out this year that got him nominated? A link to Joe Atkinson’s contest winning run? A few words about what makes the Aeon the best product of the year? Something? Anything?
So funny to still see so much hate towards a few awards for a dead sport. Stamp collectors get more respect these days! Haha.
Do what you love for no other reason than the love for what you do!
