This one has been sat in the vault for a minute and comes from my first time both meeting and shooting with Tom Barrio, someone of whom I can thankfully say is now a close friend. As well as being one of the most obviously talented young prospects the UK has seen for a long time, Tom is the biggest advocate for the place that he calls home. His enthusiasm for rollerblading and North Wales runs at equal measures and is nothing short of infectious. This is why we stayed in his home town of Rhyl for our first joint project, in the hopes we could showcase both his incredible skill on rollerblades and the place from which he has come. I shot Tom’s insanely good Torque Soul on the Rhyl sea front with a Nikkor 15mm Fisheye and three strobes to light up both Tom and the scene. — Sam Cooper
