Is there a “most disgusting thing” you have seen Isiah do?
Ha ha ha, I think what you mean is, “What is the most awesome thing have you seen Isiah do?” and there are too many answers to that question. From choking people out, or saving Jay’s life, to breaking his pelvis and tearing his groin, or dancing so hard he was too sore to skate the next day, Isiah PARTIED last summer. Ha ha. I’m pumped I was there with him for most of it.
Was there a best moment you all had while filming for this (“2 cents”) video?
The premiere was hands down the best part about making the video. We took a few awesome trips and everyone had epic moments of landing hammers, but that is what we all normally do. Plus, the premiere was one of the few times the entire crew in the movie were all together for more than a few hours. We sold out the local theater and bought more beer in three hours than the theater normally sells in a week. So many people came out to see the video. All the New Ulm G’s came to party. I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome! We all felt famous! Ha, it was dope!
Would you have done differently for this video if given the chance to go back?
I would not have switched to DSLR. I also wish I would have had my camera on me on all the non-skating adventures we went on. “2 Cents” is mostly just skating and doesn’t really reflect the insane time we had filming it.
If you guys get a chance to travel for your next video, where would you like to go?
Well, I’m over halfway done filming the next one and we didn’t really get to travel anywhere yet. We have all been a little bit busier and a little poorer than last year. We all skate every week still, but traveling and coordinating schedules is a lot more difficult this year. As for where I’d like to go? Any city bigger than Duluth that has more spots would be dope, ha ha! We are still getting business done though! The footage for the new video is looking better than ever.
