How does a vegetarian have a gut?
For one, I don’t have a gut! Some days I just need to lay off the beers, ha ha.

Who has been the biggest influence on your skating, your interest in skating, and your continued dedication to the sport?
I guess it just really has been myself. I really simply just love doing it. If I go even a day without doing it I feel like something’s wrong. I even feel myself getting stressed out if I don’t. The feeling of landing something you have had planned or something new or just driving around with the homies finding new shit to skate. I just simply really love blading.

Why are you so obsessed with #DayWalkers, and can you explain what they are to anyone who doesn’t know?
Ha ha. Day walkers are the really old crazy people you see walking around not knowing where they are or what they are doing. They just hobble around town, cross streets without looking, wear five layers of clothing even though it’s 75º outside, smoke cigs like they are going through crack withdrawals, and have really bad postures that makes them look even more crazy. Those are day walkers. They fascinate me so much. They always seem to be carrying a bag of some sort and I always want to know what is in it, or what they are thinking about. I love taking pictures of them and posting them up. They are just so awesome!

What’s next for Jeph?
Nothing. That’s the way I like it. I have just been blading a bunch lately and working on little projects. I don’t want to really leave Minnesota. I love it here and really just enjoy being here and being with my friends. Could care less about going anywhere right now. I mean a trip out overseas would be sick, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon.
