PHOTO JOURNAL: Sam Cooper #29

On yet another beautifully sunny summer’s day in the south west, me and SlapTap shop rider Matt Smith decided to get out, have a skate, and try shoot some images. The spot of choice was a rail to rail which is just up the road from Matt’s house. This spot is one that holds a special place in his heart for two reasons: the many sessions had on it over the years and, the fact that along with a few mates, it was Matt that created this rail to rail. Despite the scorching heat, a short session went down, and this image of a topacid to true topsoyal was captured, allowing Matt to swiftly morph from a steezy rollerblader into my personal tour guide of the South Hams.
