PHOTO JOURNAL: Sam Cooper #60

On a day that saw myself and Dan Loveless begin proceedings by toasting the arrival of our copies of ONE #24 with a early morning beer, we hit the streets hard continuing where we had left off before. By midday we were already two spots down and on our way to the colourful yet grimey region of Stokes Croft. Dan took quite a shine the spot despite the chain in the landing which led to him borderline sessioning it. We don’t see many Fishbrain’s in the street from Dan, which is why the surprised look on his lace when he landed and this image make this the stand out favourite from this spot. I captured this scene through my 1.4 50mm lens while lighting was composed of two strobes at full power that were positioned to the left and right of Dan. The district of Stokes Croft provided all the scenic character that dan seems to fit so well within. — Sam Cooper
