The day started out a complete ice. The first two spots we went to had recently been capped, and we were quickly given the boot by security at the third spot. With the sun going down and little hope left for the day, we decided to give it one more go and checked out some spots near USD. Luckily for us we were able to find an apartment complex with a small flat rail out front that we could warm up on, along with some kink rails out back.

After everyone was warmed up we decided to go session the last flat part of the kinked rail and get some clips. Art, Logan, Matt and Oli all laced a variety of tricks, but Oli ended up coming out with the money shot. Oli charged the rail, royaled across the flat part of the rail, then boosted a huge shifty off. The sun was about to set and the clouds were looking really cool, so I was focused on capturing Oli in the sky for this shot. I decided to capture the royale with my fisheye and his shifty off with my zoom lens. My camera settings were at f5.4, shutter 250, iso 100 with my flash set at ¼ power facing him at a 45° angle.
