The south is a tricky place to blade during the summer. It can be blistering hot, the air can be thick and wet, and the weather changes in the blink of an eye. An old saying in the southeast is “If you don’t like the weather, just wait five minutes.” This is pretty accurate, especially for Nashville. During one of those particularly hot and sticky days, Julian Mire decided to attempt this gap to soul from the marble ledge. With an approaching storm starting to sprinkle on us, we had to work fast. With the wet marble, immediate glass door landing, and sticky aluminum rail, this trick had very little margin for error. With a few looks under his belt, Julian laced the gap to soul just before the rain began pouring immediately upon his landing.
