Revolution Skateshop brought their team and special guests Doug Urquhart, Jeremy Stephenson and Justin Eisinger to Juneau, Alaska for a week of skating, fishing, and general relaxation in some BIG country. Check out some pics from Day 1 inside!
A long layover and some cold brews adds that special glow to the newest Xsjado pro while he digs into his BK bbq chicken. Mm, mm good.
Flying high over Ketchican, AK the skies open and the amazing geography below becomes visible.
The day after landing we headed up to the Mendenhall Glacier where we found this bear just off the parking lot. Alaska is wild.
Check out the glacier. That is some fresh and cold water.
The group looks tiny by this massive waterfall.
Leaving the glacier/waterfall area, while climbing over some big boulders, Spira dropped his phone and had to stage a “search and rescue” operation. He ended up head over heels and got it back. Teamwork at its finest.
Okay, that’s all the time we have today… check back for more tomorrow.
way to go spira… and no mention of geoff, or was he the bear you saw?
ive been to that glacier, its sick. alaska is so tite.
Haha, theres Spira for ya.
Bet the weather is ten times better there right now instead of 115
I was just there a few weeks ago, wondering if there was any skate scene at all. I assumed that there wasn’t.
