Our second day in Juneau started with a trip downtown to catch the tram up Mt. Roberts. The ride takes you up about 1,900 feet, well into the wilderness, and from there we hiked up into the snow patches and clouds. Some of the guys were wearing their ONE t-shirts, and here they are at one of the many viewing platforms along the way.

Downtown Juneau is a busy, bustling tourist destination (at least when the cruise ships are in port). This is what it looks like.

Like I said, we hiked up to the snow patches where not only did a gnarly snowball fight go down, but Damien Wilson and Nick Wood and a couple other guys hurled themselves down this snowy slope. Here Damien demonstrates his “backstroke” style while Nick follows with the “kato-cam” for remz.com.

Later that day we ended up at Pipeline, the semi-indoor skatepark, and after doing some pretty nice blade moves Spira got hold of this scooter and mugged for the camera.

Just before heading out, Connor laced this deal up the grind box. Not a bad shot for a Canon Powershot.

Mike French, Nick Wood and Jero went fishing with James Johnson’s dad and after a day-long trip Mike was the only guy to come home with a fish, bringing in a 20+ pound White King Salmon. Here he heats some up for a late-night snack… Alaska style.

Before the long day came to an end, Doug was enjoying an Alaskan on the front porch of our cabin. Damn it was a good day… more coming tomorrow.
