On July 19th a beach-side parking lot at the Love Long Beach Festival was turned into a street course for a Blading Cup qualifier event. Many watched. Some bladed. In the end Damon Franklin took 3rd, Kruise Sapstein 2nd, and Garret Mitschelen was 1st, earning himself a Golden Ticket to the Sem-Finals at Blading Cup on November 1.
