can’t wait. Roadhouse!
Just do it!
The more I read into this magazine in its entirety I start to realize what a monopoly the bigwigs have on bladers who really deserve to shine.
Jeff Dalnas deserved his shot at the skater of the year award just like Alex Broskow got his opportunity, but bc a certain group of old school heads(Im not going to name names, but you know who you is) this was not possible.
Everyone will probably read this and think, well, Jeff Dalnas didnt even really compete last year and to tell you the truth he’s basically unknown. Also, his main sponsor Rollerblade dropped him from the team recently so, to hell with this cat.
If you can believe for one second that Jeff Dalnas is not worthy of a chance to shine as SOTY or sponsorship from Rollerblade(whom he was a dedicated rider for) then its time for you to start wearing pants so tight that you cannot feel your feet, the tightness making you stylish but with no blood circulation your brain slowly drifts away, like astronauts in outer space.
Hey Jorge, guess you didn’t read any of the FACTS about Skater of the Year that have been online since we opened up nominations and voting to the PUBLIC back in September. Jeff Dalnas DID have just as much as a chance as ANY blader to be Skater of the Year… but he didn’t get enough nominations to qualify for Top 10. So I dunno what you mean about “what a monopoly the bigwigs have on bladers who really deserve to shine”, but you clearly don’t understand what’s up.
And pssst, this is gonna go down every year form here on out, so keep that in mind when we open up nominations in 2009 and realize that’s the right time to big up your boy.
Jeff’s a dope dude and blader, won’t be surprised if he gets Top 10 status next year.
