ONE #23 is printed and shipping in June. Featuring a commemorative milestone cover shot and interview with Skater of the Year Eugen Enin, we sent Sam Cooper to Germany to get the goods with arguably the most exciting blade talent in the world. There’s also a long-overdue look at NorCal’s preeminent tech master Korey Waikiki, shot by Filthjuice’s Erick Garcia and penned by long-time JSF’er Kennan Scott. Detroit’s newest homegrown wunderkind Brian Weis gets in front of Chris Gerard’s lens for a trip through the Motor City’s guts, with a special introduction by B’s mentor Don Bambrick. Lucky for us (and you), back in November Sean Keane and Cameron Talbott motored down to San Diego for a mini-tour that landed them a bunch of full-pagers by Sean Macgowan and a write up about blading Ocean Beach on the day the world changed. And since he’s made a home for himself on the west coast, Birmingham, AL to Oakland transplant Philip Moore slides into the AM Hour. Then there’s Drew Bachrach and Erick Garcia teaming up for an advance look at Michael Braud’s upcoming flick #BARS, Joe Esquivel telling us about how he got to the Grammys, Yuto Goto dropping a Take 5, and finally Australian photographer Hayden Golder getting together with legendary roller Tim Ward for our first 15 Minutes that doesn’t feature a lick of vintage blading — nope, Tim has still got the goods.
Making ONE is never easy, but every time a new issue drops we think “Great, now let’s do it again!” So that’s what we’re gonna do.
Now in the meantime, enjoy the last year’s worth of work.

Oh shit! Is that Ward on the cover? Hell yeah. Didn’t Jon Julio have a damn near identical cover or pic from back in the day?
