Shane Conn always surprises me. When I showed him this spot weeks ago, he told me what he wanted to do. I just shook my head. When we actually visited the spot, my head shook for a different reason. Shane took only a few tries to lock this underside soul stall, and I just watched in amazement as he laced it much quicker than I thought he would. Luckily it was a bright enough day not to need flashes, and I chose an angle low enough to keep Shane mainly placed in the light sky. We tried shooting another angle, but after a while this trick got really difficult for Shane to land, so we rolled with the one you see today. — Bruce Bales
