After a full first day of blading at Strasbourg’s NL contest, the Brits all came together to head into the city to find the best spots on offer. We hit a number of awesome options but it was the last spot that was the best in my eyes. Dean Bradley had been killing it at every spot and he wasn’t about to stop now. While everyone else was finding joy in landing a single trick on this long, pyramid shaped ledge, Dean was running through his trick vocabulary. This Topacid was just one of many tricks he executed in a relaxed manor before we called a end to the session so the night’s partying could begin.
For the capture I used three strobe lights, which include my usual two to light both the scene and the subject from both sides, as well as a third one behind Dean. This was used to create a rim light of which helps make him pop more away from the dark background.
