On a very warm June day I made my way back down to Kingston to finish shooting Dan Collins for his Kingdom Mag profile. The day had been a mixed bag of luck with some shots not working, some spots not working out, but still we bumped into this little beauty when looking around the leisure center in Leatherhead. Once my belt had been used to strap the barrier to the post, Dan was good to go and began to lace a number of tricks with ease and steez. After I found a nice angle it was a simple case of capturing the proceedings, and this steezy Back Unity up the barrier while the summer sun was still beating down on us really stood out to me. I captured this trick using a Nikkor 50mm and lit it up using two Canon 540EZs that were both to my left, set at 1/32 power. — Sam Cooper
This picture is awesome… I love the dreamlike look. Creative angle too!
