Julian Mire is not one to be afraid of most obstacles. Though he has only been skating for a few years now, he has always been willing to skate what he can. This particular rail was no different. After watching a friend try to get warmed up on it but instead smashing their face into the ground, not a lot of people would be willing to skate an unwaxed drop rail. But Julian showed no fear and did a few basic tricks on it, then Fishbrained the unwaxed rail a few times to make sure the picture and clip were perfect. This shot was taken with a Nikon D90 at 1/180, f5.6 with an SB600 at camera right for key light, and a Vivtar 285 for rim/key light. — Zach Leavell
Sick, you gotta show me this rail when I head up there! The angle and lighting look amazing!
