Every year our friends from Japan come over to California in the fall for events (we’re looking at you, Kentaro). Sometimes we get to hang out; sometimes we don’t. But this year we made it happen with a meet up at the Carmel Valley Skatepark that turned into a full-on session under the slowly setting sun. Watch as Chiaki Ito and friends Shigemasa Amano, Haruki Dozen, Ren Fujiwara, Yuki Tanimura and Mana Dozen shred the skatepark alongside local staples Geoff Acers and Russell Day. From the looks of things, Chiaki has brought the new generation of Japanese bladers up right.
